Outside Organization Involvement:

Sidda Yoga Foundation:

Through the teachings of Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, I have been able to focus my energy in a positive manner, taking on every program of interest, and being able to utilize the things I've learned in my everyday surroundings. I've been involved with the SYDA for two-and-a-half years, and I am looking forward to contributing to the foundation in the ways I can upon release, for as long as I am incarcerated.

Goals:

  • Serve the Sidda Yoga Foundation within my community, and practice the teachings.
  • Enroll in the College of Art and Design in New York, and freelance some of my work that I have developed.
  • Join my father's business (ACN.com) marketing network, that involves all kinds of influential people (doctors, lawyers, retired NY detectives, Bishops, etc.). I expect to grow as a person with these kind of people around me.

Family Reunion Program:

Involving family get-togethers for a three-day trailer visit. Trailer comes equipped with full apartment setting, two bedrooms. Family able to cook meals together, and set up a family atmosphere where we are able to eat and spend time as a family, and discuss private and family matters. Also, able to speak about my future goals and plans if I am released on parole. Usually go on these visits every two months, or when most available.

Spare time activities:

  • Daily exercise
  • Handball
  • Study and read art books
  • Meditation
  • Daily study of SYDA correspondence course lessons
  • Brainstorm plans to become a successful artist
